The image remains obscured when the light is turned off. But once you hit the switch the flame bursts into existence and the shadow image is displayed.

The mason jars have a tissue paper finish on the exterior that is aged to go along with the aged appearance of the wood base.

The mason jars are nested on a stained wooden base that can also be customized upon additional requests. The Flame Night Light Shadow Creatures also come with a LED Flame Bulb on a 6 foot power cord.
